Knitting Consultation

• HELP!  I’m happy to help you with any questions or problems that arise from my classes or from patterns by Sarah Peasley, Handknitter.  I am committed to seeing you through to the end of your project!

• More HELP!  Do you have any questions on other knitting patterns or on any specific knitting techniques?  I’d be happy to offer some friendly knitting advice, to offer alternative solutions, or to help with an unfamiliar technique.  I’ll let you know if it’s not in my area of expertise, but I love a challenge. 

• Please contact me with your question, and I’ll see what I can do to help!  If we can handle it through e-mail, there will be no charge.  If not, we can make some other arrangements to fit both of our schedules (a fee will be charged -- please see Rates below). 

Pattern Writing and Alteration

• Do you have a picture or idea of a sweater, but no pattern?
• Do you like a particular pattern but need to make some changes? 

• Are you substituting a yarn and can’t seem to hit the gauge? 

• I can help you write or alter your pattern so it works for you. 
• Please contact me with your request.  See Rates below.  A deposit will be required, with the balance due upon completion of the project.

Custom Knitting

• Sorry, I am not currently able to commit to any custom knitting projects.
• For previous customers, I have knit sweaters, Christmas stockings, socks, mittens . . .
• Please contact me with your request.  Prices vary by project.  A deposit will be required, with the balance due upon completion of the project.

Finishing

• If you can't take my Beginning Finishing class, perhaps you’ll let me put your sweater together for you!
• Please contact me with your request.  See Rates below.  A deposit will be required, with the balance due upon completion of the project.

Repairs

• Sweater sleeves too long?  Neckband coming undone?  I can fix that.
• Moth holes?  Dog chewed your sweater?  I may be able to fix that.

Rates

• $20 per hour, with a minimum requirement of one hour.
• The customer will be responsible for the cost of any materials required.

• Payment can be by cash or check made payable to Sarah Peasley, due at the time the service is completed.
