There’s a guild based in Lansing called “Mid Michigan Knitters Guild”.  Members range from absolute beginners to seasoned experts.  They range in age from college students to retirees.  They meet from 7:00-9:00 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month (from September through May) in the basement of the University Lutheran Church at 1020 S. Harrison Road in East Lansing, Michigan.  There’s usually a short business meeting followed by some kind of program, show and share, and snacks.  Dues are $20 for the year ($15 after January), but you’re welcome to attend a couple of meetings first to see how you like it.
