Description
2
sessions
Cost: $30
Skill level: Beginner
Start with a circular needle and finish on double points
while trying out a few stylish hat patterns.

Project
In this
class, you will choose
a simple hat to knit.
NOTE: The hats are shown in order of
difficulty, from most easy to least easy.
Materials
Sorry,
but all needle sizes and yarn weights and amounts are variable, depending on
how tightly or loosely you knit, which pattern and yarn you choose, and how
big you want your hat to be (mine are sized for adults).
I'll do my best to list what I used for each of the hats pictured above
-- you do your best to figure out how that applies to you.
Good
advice:
-
When in
doubt, buy extra yarn and save your receipt (check the store's return
policy).
-
The
needle sizes listed are what I used to knit the hats shown above. I
am a loose knitter, so I usually use a smaller needle than an average or
tight knitter. If possible, bring all of the needles you own, in case
you want to experiment with needle sizes.
